Research task by Daisy Hook- No country for old men

No country for old men is a crime thriller.

it opens with a man explaining about how he was sheriff of a town.
his voice is a voice over and so instead of seeing him we are shown multiple shots of we can assume is where he was sheriff of.

we are then presented with a shot of a policeman escorting a man in handcuffs to the back of the car. from the way that he pushes him into the car we can tell that he has committed a crime of some sort.

after the man is pushed in to the car a gas cylinder with a type of hose contraption hooked up to it is placed in the front seat, so we can assume that this was his weapon of choice or that he had stolen it, something to do with the crime that has now placed him in this car.

we don't know whether the man in the voice over is the man getting pushed into the car or not at this point, but the fact that we can assume that the man getting pushed into the car is the antagonist from the fact that you cannot see his face, he has been forcefully placed in a police car and that an object that may have been used to cause harm is in the front seat of said police car, from this our instinct tell us not to trust this man and so from that we can assume that he is the antagonist in this film.
